Yikes!!!

Its been too long! Ava has done so much in the past couple of weeks she is absolutely amazing! I'm going to see if I can remember all that she has done. On March 30th she had her first dream (that I know of) where she laughed in her sleep, and then later on in the night she also talked in her sleep. Friday April 8 Ava crawled for the first time. Maybe I should make a correction, she crawled forward for the first time. We have tried all kinds of different food: Soda crackers, 3rd foods like lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs. She likes baby food macaroni and cheese, mango, apples and berries, mixed fruit, peach cobbler. She tried yogurt this week and today she tried cheese (just a little and I mashed it so that it was soft). Ava loves other kids. Ava and I went to dinner over at a friends house, she has three kids and my sister in law and brother in law were there with their two kids. Ava got a kick out of watching all the kids. This past Friday I ended up watching my niece and nephew and Ava enjoyed playing with Luka. Then on Saturday my sister in law Billie was awesome enough to watch Ava for a couple of hours while I went to a class and she reported that Ava was giving her cousin Juno kisses. Ava and I have a lot of fun together. I love watching her learn about the world. She's getting a pretty good concept of it. She is interested in everything, she is always trying to figure out how things work. She loves music. She dances to songs that she likes. I take her to church on Sunday mornings and she stays in church with me while we sing songs and she really likes the songs. She dances and claps her hands together. Then I take her to the child care room so she gets to play with the other kids. Ava enjoys the outdoors too. Yesterday we went on a walk up the street and Ava loved looking around at everything. Today we went on a walk to the park. But before that she sat nicely in her stroller while I was talking with the neighbors. Phil and I are so blessed to have Ava in our life and we are so grateful for the people in our life as well!

Easter Sunday and Ava is 8 months!

So today was a pretty wonderful day!
Ava and I went to church.the service was very nice. I have found a new church home. Its right down the street. They have four services to choose from, I am able to bring Ava in with me but I am usually taking her to child care after they sing the songs, she gets kind of antsy and she is REALLY loud when she talks. It was fun. I'm glad I found a church and I'm glad its close to home and I feel so welcomed when I'm there.

Then afterwards our small little family went out to eat.
Then we went grocery shopping for the week.
We went home and installed quick books (oh joy).
Ava had a wonderful week. She hit so many milestones and learned to do so much this week! Its incredible!
Ava has learned to, dance to her favorite songs (she bounces up and down), she got on all fours this week, so she learned to crawl backwards, she can now successfully crawl backwards and then sit back up again. She can move everywhere! She spits with her tongue, she likes to eat. She has now eaten most of the vegetables, and fruits (including strawberries, thanks to Dad....) and has now graduated to mini meals, of Macaroni and Cheese, Turkey Dinner and Vegetable Pasta.
Ava has also mastered standing holding on to something for a long period of time (over 10 minutes), and can sort of pull herself up on furniture. She also found the game of "lets drop this and see if mom will pick it up". Mom doesn't pick it up. Mom puts it in the trash or the sink.
There is lots more but it has been a busy, crazy day and I have to go to work in the morning. I will hopefully get this updated again before next weekend but we'll see.
