The end of March

I haven't been updating the blog as much as I would like.
Ava is getting big-er. She is 19 months, she is mostly in 12 month clothes, she is starting to fit in 18 month clothes such as long footed pajamas and even a few pair of pants. She can still fit in 6 month stretch pants, they fit like capri's. She can still wear 3-6 month shirts, only some. She is fitting in more 12 month stuff. WAHOO!
I'm going to guess she is almost to 19 lbs now. She is over 30 inches tall. Only a few more years until we can go on the Ferris Wheel at Scheels.

Ava is doing well. She speaks exceptionally well. She says something that sounds similar to "I love you". She says goodmorning and goodnight to "Me-ma" everyday. She now has two names for Grandpa "Gingka" or "Opa".
She calls Phil...well "Phil". LOL Its hilarious, Phil doesn't think its quite as funny as I do. He prefers "Daddy".
Ava had her first conversation on the phone with me today. Well...ok, not a conversation, but she said stuff on her end instead of breathing into the phone. She said "Mommy" "Hello" "Hi" "Hello" LOL She said something else but I can't even begin to imagine what she said. Oh and she blew kisses. I could hear her lips smack together.

If I ask her for a kiss, and she is in a good mood, she will give me a kiss. If Phil asks for a kiss, she blows him kisses. ;0)

Ava communicates pretty well. She does really really well.

This month, I've become involved in some pretty cool things! The Reno Baron's have moved to town...ok, well they evolved! Reno now has its very own indoor football team! My friend Cheryl won season tickets and is now deemed head of the fan club and part of the street team coordination!
This week I've been asked to join and volunteer with coordination with Squaw Valley's events! I'm super excited! Squaw Valley is one of the top Resorts in Tahoe. Nothing like getting an IN with one of the biggest, hottest resorts in Tahoe!
Then on Sunday, I'm going to walk in a 5k at Scheels!
And right after that, I get my first personal training session! WAHOO! I might finally get in shape.

Everything is coming together nicely.

Long time, no post

So much has happened in such a short period of time.
I haven't even gotten the chance to post about my Grandmother's passing.
I feel so badly that I've neglected to report on all that Ava has been doing. How she is growing up.

Ava got her first bug. She had a fever of 103. We went to the doctor, she was given antibiotics. Ava weighed in at 18 lbs, 7 oz and 30 inches! WAHOO! She is growing!

Ava talks...a LOT! She won't stop talking most nights.
Last week she said all kinds of really awesome things.
She got in the car after daycare and asked "Where is Assion" (Assion= her BFF Addison).

The next day I asked Ava on the way to daycare "Would you like Daddy to pick you up early today?" Ava replies, "No".
On Thursday last week I ended up taking my friend Jackie to the hospital, but I went to pick up Ava before picking up my friend. So when I backed out of the daycare driveway, we went a different way and Ava asked, "Where we go?"
LOL The little girl may be small, but she sure is smart!

Tonight Ava said the best thing a mother could hear. I tell Ava I love her every night.
Tonight, very loud and clear she said, "I love you".

Life is so very very different. I love my family so very much. I love Phil and Ava and my dad more than anyone could know. I would do anything, within my means, for any of them.

I am so thankful I had the time I did with my mom, Grandmother and Fizz. Its so hard to comprehend everything that has happened. Life seems surreal sometimes. It feels like a dream or like I'm living in a bubble.
My husband is awesome. He cleaned the house today. Our house looks more normal. It doesn't look like a thrift store anymore.
This week I started going through all of the world calender pages I've kept since July 2009. I found a notebook so I've been writing down all of the dates that events have happened. Days when Ava first walked, when she stood up, what doctors she's seen, the dates she had appointments, and her weight. All kinds of fun stuff! I'm excited to be making a book for her to look back and see what she did at least her first two years, the dates she did stuff and when she hit certain mile stones.
I'm excited to get the book done. I've just gotten to the hardest month, February. February was not a good month for us.

Anyways....I just wanted to catch up a little bit so that I'm not slacking too badly. I'm excited to have such a wonderful beautiful little girl. I love her with all my heart. She consumes my world.
